  • Served on the National Board of Directors of both AOBTA (American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia) and the Council for Healing.
  • Served as a consultant to the Institute of Medicine and the NCCAM (National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine)
  • Contracted by the Joan Karnell Cancer Center at Pennsylvania Hospital, in Philadelphia, since 2001 to provide Shiatsu treatments and educational workshops to cancer patients.
